Hand-picked and twice-sorted, 40% whole bunches, the remainder whole berries, open-fermented with wild yeast, 31 days on skins, matured for 14 months in French puncheons (30% new). Gold Medal Yarra Valley Wine Show 2015.

An old hermit walked around the village and surrounding area day and night, even in the daylight he still carried a lit lantern. One day the villagers had enough curiosity to ask him “Sir, why do you carry your lantern lit in the daylight?” He said, “Because I’m searching for an honest man.”
