Vintage Fridays, March & April 2024.

Each and every Friday evening during the months of March & April we will be serving something soothing and comforting for the workers during vintage. Delicious food and refreshing drinks…  Ossobuco, root vegetables, gremolata $38pp

A note on vintage – We are a working winery and during the months of March & April every year, pending when we harvest our fruit, the winery and its equipment will be in action. The winery air fills with scent of grapes and fermenting juice. In addition there will be strange noises and often loud noises including the pressing of grapes occurring, sometimes during lunch and dinner service. If this excites you as much as it does us, then we welcome you to witness the wonder of vintage at Winery & Cellar Bar when you dine with us next.

ANZAC Day Eve at Winery & Cellar Bar – Wednesday 24th April

We will be opening our doors for drinks and dining this ANZAC Day eve from 3pm – 9pm. 

Our a la carté menu is available alongside a special Chef’s Menu. The seasonal two-course menu is $68pp and features a selection of dishes served in the family style of dining.

Additional dishes will be available to add to your menu on the day. Freshly shucked oysters, scallops and Skull Island prawns from the grill, local cheeses and delicious desserts. There is also the option to include a Wine Experience at the bar on arrival, or a Seated Tasting at the Table.

Walk-in guests and casual visits are always welcome, and dogs are also welcome in our outdoor undercover courtyard.

Celebrate the women in your life this Mother’s Day at Jayden Ong Winery & Cellar Bar.

All parties dine on a special Mother’s Day three-course banquet menu. Choose from either confit duck main course $95 or sea bream with Yarra Valley Caviar $110.

Then enhance the experience by including a glass of Champagne on arrival, and adding luxurious optional additions on the day such as freshly shucked Rock oysters, scallops with Champagne butter sauce and local cheeses.

Dining

Jayden Ong Winery & Cellar Bar is open for drinks and dining. Bookings for 1 – 24 guests can be made online and for a dining time of 2 hours. Our a la carté menu is available alongside our Chef’s Menu. The seasonally changing three-course Chef’s Menu is $85pp and features a selection of dishes served in the family style of dining.
Groups 7+ automatically dine from the Chef’s Menu. Dietary requirements and preferences will be accommodated with notice.

Wine Experience

Take some time to explore the four ranges of wine made in-house by Jayden Ong. An engaging, alternative wine tasting and conversation with the people who make the wine. Allowing 30 minutes for the tasting, explore 5 wines from the day’s offering (40ml pours, 200ml in total)

$20 per person, includes chilled still or sparkling water. Possibly a few laughs. Tasting contribution is redeemable in full with 3+ btl purchase, or by signing up to our wine club on the day, Magnum Opus.

Serving all four ranges of wine made by Jayden Ong, as well as some local legends and a lengthy list of compelling internationals.
