Wine in Bottle and Other Stories – A Winemaker dinner series with Jayden Ong Wines
Wine in Bottle and Other Stories is a celebration of wine and its people; of innovation and the creative spirit that makes the wine sector in Victoria so vibrant.
For the cooler months Jayden Ong Winery and Cellar Bar will be celebrating a number of Victorian winemakers from outside the Yarra Valley. Producers renowned for their quality wines and practices as well as being fantastic humans.
Join us and share a table with these producers for an unforgettable night of fine wine, exceptional food, and captivating conversation.
Saturday 5 July – Matt Harrop Silent Way, Macendon Ranges
Saturday 23 August – Barney Flanders Garagiste, Mornington Peninsula
October – Vignerons Schmölzer & Brown, Beechworth
November – Matt Holmes Bannockburn, Bellarine Peninsula
Dinner 6-8pm, Chef’s Selection Three-course Menu $95pp plus additional items available on the night
Dietary requirements can be accommodated with notice, please include in the notes section when making your booking.
Walk-in guests and casual visits are always welcome, and dogs are also welcome in our outdoor undercover courtyard, although we do recommend wearing a big coat and lots of layers when dining with us in the cooler months. Jayden Ong Winery and Cellar Bar is fully wheelchair accessible.

Jayden Ong Winery & Cellar Bar is open for drinks and dining. Bookings for 1 – 24 guests can be made online and for a dining time of 2 hours. Our a la carté menu is available alongside our Chef’s Menu. The seasonally changing three-course Chef’s Menu is $88pp and features a selection of dishes served in the family style of dining.
Groups 7+ who are joining us to dine, automatically dine from the seasonal Chef’s Menu. Dietary requirements and preferences will be accommodated with notice.

Wine Experience
Take some time to explore the four ranges of wine made in-house by Jayden Ong. An engaging, alternative wine tasting and conversation with the people who make the wine. Allowing 30 minutes for the tasting, explore 5 wines from the day’s offering (40ml pours, 200ml in total)
$20 per person, includes chilled still or sparkling water. Possibly a few laughs. Tasting contribution is redeemable in full with 3+ btl purchase, or by signing up to our wine club on the day, Magnum Opus.

Our new custom built Winery & Cellar Bar is open for lunch & dinner in the heart of the Yarra Valley, at 8 Hunter Road, Healesville. Serving all four ranges of wine made by Jayden Ong, as well as some local legends and a lengthy list of compelling internationals. Plenty of options offered by the glass, as well as refreshing local beer and well made cocktails using unique hand crafted spirits and ingredients.
